Ground Zero…
The ominous words have become so familiar to us in recent weeks. An immense pile of twisted steel, glass, pulverized concrete, and human remains speaks of death and devastation on a massive scale. How to rebuild when so much has been destroyed?
Catastrophe can happen on a smaller and more personal level in our private lives. We have our own disasters. Failure, sin, and wrong choices bring brokenness and tragedy. In their wake, we find ourselves buried under the debris of discouragement and despair. We wonder how to rebuild.
A man named Nehemiah lived in the aftermath of such a disaster. But God took him to Ground Zero and used him to rouse his people to rebuild. In so doing, God gave us invaluable principles we need in order to “re-start” our lives.
Join us in the coming weeks as we explore “Rebuilding with God: Studies in Starting Over” from the book of Nehemiah…
